Our 40th Anniversary Modern Dimma 205-300ps "Carbon"

Imagine a classic Peugeot 205, reborn and reimagined for the 21st century, retaining its iconic silhouette but with a modern twist.
We’ve taken the best of today’s automotive advancements and seamlessly integrated them with the timeless appeal of the original 205. Our aim was not just to re-imagine the legendary 205 launched in 1984, but to take it to new heights in terms of performance, handling, refinement, and technology. The result? A machine that’s faster, wider, and more assertive, yet still carries the soul of its predecessor. In the good old days, Dimma UK used to upgrade their 205s with new-crated 405 MI 16 engines. But now, we’re pushing the boundaries even further. We’ve upgraded almost everything with the latest mechanical and electronic innovations, including a state-of-the-art interior borrowed from the current Peugeot 308Gti, all perfectly fitted into the classic 205 framework. At the heart of this beast is a direct injection 1.6 Turbo engine, a true powerhouse delivering a staggering 300bhp output, coupled with a 6-speed gearbox, massive brakes, stunning 19-inch wheels and a limited-slip differential that ensures you’re glued to the road.
Staying true to the original 205’s lightweight design, we have gone further, this car features carbon fiber body panels to reduce weight and enhance efficiency. The high-performance, low-emission 1.6 Direct Injection Petrol Turbo Engine is not just powerful, but also impressively low emmision and fuel-efficient, capable of delivering over 55mpg.
The New Dimma 205-300ps is more than just a car; it’s a road-legal modern classic that promises an exhilarating driving experience, unmatched performance, and rock-solid reliability, whether you’re cruising city streets or ruling the racetrack. While its big brother the 308Gti is renouned as a "real drivers car", the Dimma 205-300ps is next level, with its significantly reduced weight, delivers a quantum leap in handling and performance. Buckle up for the ride of your life! As it stands the Dimma 205-300ps is a one off and development will continue throughout 2024, over 4000 man hours so far! Terry is contantly working on replacing the development parts with Carbon Fibre components and working towards a target overall weight of under 1000kg. Its now very unlikely that a production run of these cars will happen, but a customer commision would be possible, around 2000 hrs for a new build.
